An attitude of gratitude! ...the choice is yours. Soften that heart of stone.

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. EZEKIEL 36:26 NLT

Life offers us so many opportunities to let go and let God.

We must continually surrender our hearts to Him, and allow our hearts not to grow hard. Everyone is walking through something that challenges them. Many are silent in their struggles. God is not a dictator, but a loving heavenly Father. He desires to walk with us through it all, yet so many times we hold onto the struggles and hurts, as if there was something we can control or change within ourselves.

What is that thing you are struggling with handing over to God?

But God... we say to ourselves.

This internal dialogue leads us to a place of taking on something we have no control over, and we relentlessly hang on clench-fisted. We feel as if we are owned by whatever it is we are holding on to.

Again, we must let go and let God. We must open up to allow God to work on our behalf for His glory.

Romans 8:28 says it best, "All things work together for good for those who love God, and are called according to His purposes."
